Carmona , Seville, Spain In 2020, a new community opened up in the Diocese of Seville where now 32 (17) sisters live in the city of Carmona. In this diocese, the sisters serve in parishes giving catechism and formation. We also form a part of the spiritual life of the diocese in general, giving Spiritual Exercises. The lay collaborators from Seville now enjoy having sisters nearby. They can participate in community prayers, gatherings and youth activities which we lead.

The convent, which is the property of the Discalced Augustinians of the Recollection, is being loaned to us. This convent was built between the 16th and 17th centuries. Sections of its vast buildings were closed off by Augustinians because of humidity damage.

Ocaña, Toledo, Spain In 2017, the Discalced Carmelite of the convent of St. Joseph in Ocaña (Toledo) generously decided to lend their convent to the community in order to have our apostolic activities there. In that way, this 16th century cloistered convent, after centuries of service and prayer for the Church and the entire world, has become an apostolic center where the H.A.M. community continues working for the salvation of souls.

For this reason, this convent is currently a place of apostolate and prayer. During the school year, we give our Spiritual Exercises here, as well as participate in other retreats for adults and youth. In Ocaña we also celebrate bigger gatherings with our lay collaborators, especially on feast days (Christmas, Easter, Divine Mercy Sunday, etc).

For the last two years, we have hosted several weeks of summer camp within the confines of this property. Practically speaking, this convent is in use all year round.

Apart the community’s weekend apostolate, we are also at the service of the faithful in Ocaña. Following the spirit of the community and in order to eliminate monetary obstacles for those who wish to go on Exercises, there is no cost to attend. We only ask for financial collaboration by means of a voluntary donation.
