OUR CURRENT NEEDS
Needs for Los Molinos & community in general : We are searching for a convent in or near Madrid that could accommodate more vocations, and that would sufficient space for community gatherings and apostolic activities. The purchase price of those sorts of buildings are beyond our means.
Aside from the household needs, there are other costs which arise from the theological formation of the younger sisters which prepares them for our apostolic mission. Tuition is a considerable expense for this community. Needs for Carmona Community: Seeing as this convent is several centuries old, there are several renovations needed in the sections that were unused and have humidity damage. As in Madrid, the younger sisters in Carmona are studying theology. Tuition is one of the expenses for this community. Needs for Ocaña Community: As the size of our own community and the apostolic reach is growing, we must continually remodel the spaces in this 16th century building in order to accommodate larger groups of people. The property needs frequent maintenance to assure that the lights, heating and plumbing keep running for so many activities.
